How They Look
The Experience
You get to be the star of your own show. Most conversations last between 60–90 minutes. Take as many breaks as you'd like, and enjoy the natural flow of conversation all about you.
We ask deep questions exploring your ancestry, childhood, and life's journey, capturing the stories and memories that have shaped you and your family's history.
The conversation is entirely self-paced to create a relaxed space where memories can surface naturally.

The Life Story Book

About the Filmmaker
Douglas is a documentary filmmaker from Orange County, CA. He holds a Master of Peace and Conflict from the University of Oslo, and his work has screened at festivals including the Glendale and Newport Beach Film Festivals.
His work grew from researching his own family ancestry and recognizing how easily stories can be lost with time. He created Family Legacy Films to help individuals preserve their life history in a thoughtful, private conversation, creating a personal film families can return to for generations.
